Piano Revisited
Hasn’t had so much fun for a long time. Well, that is until last night. Met up with my hostel clique, yuehua, changhe, Teik, Winnie and geko for dinner. Somehow, yuehua came back to Singapore earlier than expected for vacation!!! (can you believe that? someone actually come back to Singapore for vacation…haha…)

Its dinner at Giraffe, the restaurant pub that took over Bboss at Istana Park. Its ambience sure score high points, (much much higher than bboss) but its food, well, i can’t say it sucks, but really no big deal. Haha, a fusion of Italian with French Cuisine, as some of them has put. (erm, it wasn’t meant as a compliment at the point of speech…so, you figure it out) The price is a bit steep for the food, so, well, if you are just there to chill out…not too bad (just that they happened to run out on their cheaper wines also…though if you have spare cash for $60 a bottle of wine on a normal occasion, no prob man)

Well, I kinda suggested that place, hope the other guys really wasn’t too turn off by it. But judging from their reactions earlier…i think it didn’t go down too well for them.

Adjourned to Rouge or was it Acid bar at Emerald place after dinner and then…we decided that we rather drink at yuehua’s place (cos got free wine…and free curly fries - much to the annoyance of winnie…hahah…sorry, we tink that the fries were really necessary since we were intending to drink) after seating down at their so called VIP AREA (damned you fat lady who sounded so sarcastic) for about 10 minutes. Then i’am sure, to much of the annoyance of the shop owner, we walked out of that place and headed for yh’s place.

To my amazement, I saw not one, but 2 grand piano seating in the living room. As far as my memory can remember, I only saw 1 grand piano when I last went to his house lor…that was just like 3 years ago? Why do anyone need 2 grand pianos in one house??? I supposed there must be a reason to everything…hahaha…well, one more piano for me to choose…not bad ah…

In the end, I chose the German made piano…(based on a rather un-pro judgement from the name of the brand…schniedmayer or something…hmm….spelling sure didn’t look quite correct).
-
And yesh, played my heart out, and had great fun singing, rather…the other guys have great fun singing…(though I really couldn’t managed most of their keys, with all the flats and sharps inside…so, sorry, you have to stick to my native C major or A minor…haha…F major doesn’t look too bad either…)

Improvisation and more improvisation, somehow, its really kinda hard to think of the next song to play. I’am sure everyone had his/her fair share of racking the brains out just to think of the next song. Well, in brief. I had fun, really. Really felt like the good old days in JC and also hall where we could play all day/night long and sing along. Thanks guys!

Its high time I start playing my scales again.
