Priority Queue

Was pleasantly surprised today when I went groceries shopping for my picnic items before watching "ballet under the stars" at Fort Canning (Well, that would be another blog entry, if I choose to write something on it)

Priority Queue is probably something which is not new to you. You would have seen it when you go clubbing, buying a movie ticket, collecting a ticket from SISTIC etc

But Priority Queue at a supermarket, hey, that’s something new…well…at least to me. Well, its something that you would really welcome at the supermarket when even the express lane seems to crawl like a normal one. Though frankly speaking, I’am not too sure how long this lane would remain "priority" as compared to the rest. Simply put, its gonna to be a matter of time when everyone get their hand on a POSBank "everyday" card and with only 1 such "priority lane" in Carrefour Plaza Singapura, i’am not sure whether it would really be "priority" in time to come. Well, at least, that’s what i’am already seeing at GV cinemas where the so called "priority" Visa cardholders ain’t getting their tickets anyway faster than the other "non-priority" Master/AMEX cardholders.

I supposed I would just have to do more groceries shopping for the time being and enjoy being given "priority". Pretty much what I want in life, isn’t it? (Especially going out to those who did not want to give me priority…lol)
